Margaret (Malgorzata) Mart is originally from Poland. She has lived in several countries throughout her life, including Germany, Canada, and the USA. Margaret earned her Master of Education in Curriculum Development (Specialization Secondary School Math Education) from the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, BC and Master of Art in Teaching Mathematics from Warsaw University. In August 2014 she started the Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership, Transformational Learning, and Higher Education Program at Concordia University. Currently, she is involved with international research on methodology of teaching mathematics.
She is passionate about helping students learn and understand math. In the past, Margaret has had the opportunity to work with, motivate and teach a variety of students from many cultures. She has worked in both public and private schools, junior high, high school and college levels. Margaret created her own innovative ways to reach students and effectively teach them all levels of math.
In addition to teaching, Margaret enjoys the little things in life: a hot cup of tea, a fresh new game of Sudoku, and sitting around a campfire with her best friends and family. She is always excited to make new friends, so feel free to stop by and chat anytime!
