Igniting a Passion

In 2005, given the lack of suitable options for students with dyslexia, Park Academy was established to fill a rising community need. Founder Piper Park has been an inspiration in igniting a passion that has spread remarkably. Now, students travel many miles to attend a school that understands their learning differences and discovers their true capabilities.

Park Academy has earned a reputation in the Portland metropolitan area and throughout the state of Oregon as an exceptional school with excellent teachers and programs that really work.

History

Park Academy is a small non-profit independent school founded by Piper Park, a parent who wanted to give other students the opportunity that her son received by attending a school that addressed his dyslexic challenge. Ms. Park’s dream became a reality when she opened the doors of Park Academy in September 2005.
