Christine Allen grew up in Kirkland, Washington with her parents, twin sister and brother. She attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington where she earned her teaching degree and became an elementary classroom teacher for grades ranging from 1-6. After a few years in Bellingham, she moved to the Hawaiian Island of Oahu where she continued her teaching career. After 13 years as a classroom teacher, she pursued a specialty in literacy education and earned her reading endorsement through Portland State University. Most recently, she worked as a literacy specialist for the Tigard Tualatin School District. Christine is excited to start her second year at Park Academy.
Christine lives in Lake Oswego. In her free time, she enjoys skiing, running, yoga and spending time with friends and family at the cabin in Ocean Shores, Washington. She also enjoys writing and playing music with her band. She has two daughters, Avery and Quinn.
