Christine Allen

Teacher

Christine Allen grew up in Kirkland, Washington and obtained her B.Ed in History and Elementary Education at Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.  She was a classroom teacher for both primary and intermediate grade levels in Bellingham and on the Island of Oahu, Hawaii.  After 15 years as a classroom teacher and literacy specialist, she pursued a focus in literacy education, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Reading Endorsement from Portland State University. She has been at Park Academy for three years.  

Christine is a mom of two daughters and lives in Lake Oswego. In addition to spending time with her daughters, she enjoys piano, yoga and skiing.
