Sandy Nemer’s passion for teaching started while teaching English and German in Japan. She is a graduate of The University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education, and a Masters Degree in Education and Psychology. She has been a primary K-8 teacher, Educational Coach and now specializes in Dyslexia. Sandy is a certified Associate in OG and a Dyslexia Practitioner in training through the IDA. She is also becoming a certified Holocaust Educator and has traveled to Poland and Israel for this endeavor.
Sandy is an advocate and consultant for students and parents. She has a passion for helping students love how to learn. She also loves spending time with her husband, 3 kids, and 2 dogs. She enjoys hiking and has summited Mt. Hood with her son, as well as Mt. St. Helens. In the winter she loves to ski with her family.
Going to work for Sandy is not “work” to her, it’s the chance to help make a positive difference in a child’s day in learning.
