2025 Gala – Ann Bancroft

On June 19, 2025, 248 people joined us to launch our 20^th school year!  We are honored to be able to reflect on a history steeped with grit and resilience.  Our students, staff and faculty, board of directors and community, all worked hard these past twenty years to ensure that students with dyslexia have a place to call home, Park Academy.

Our keynote speaker, Ann Bancroft’s story, though her educational experience was years ago, her words reflect the same experiences and emotions that young people and their families share with us today.

Funding is always a challenge and we could not do the work we do without philanthropic support. Because of the community’s generosity, that night, we raised over $350,000 to support the students of Park Academy.

In addition to reflecting back on our history with our first Head of School, Dr. Paula Kinney, we also announced a new endowed scholarship in honor of Ray Park.
