Teacher
Christie Lee has dedicated her adult life to educating and caring for children. A lifelong learner and passionate student advocate, she brings energy, empathy, and experience to every role she takes on.
After graduating from Glencoe High School in Hillsboro, Mrs. Lee ran an in-home childcare business for nearly 15 years while raising her two children—one with ADHD and one with Autism. During that time, she also led a Head Start pilot program through the Community Action Organization and earned her Associate degree in Early Childhood Education.
As her children grew, Mrs. Lee worked in Special Education at Tigard High School for seven years, serving students from grades 9–12 and beyond. While working, she completed her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with an ESOL concentration, followed by a Master’s in Education focused on mindfulness in the classroom. She also holds a Reading Intervention Specialist endorsement and completed Orton-Gillingham training in 2024.
Mrs. Lee has taught 4th and 5th grade, worked as a Reading Specialist, and provided one-on-one tutoring before joining Park Academy as a teacher.
Outside of school, she enjoys NFL football (especially the Kansas City Chiefs), spending time with her dog Griffin, quilting, reading, and relaxing with family—especially at the beach. Her favorite color is red, and she’s always up for a good cup of coffee.
