Deirdre Plaster

Teacher

Deirdre Plaster was born in Spokane, Washington and loves calling the Pacific Northwest home. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics Education with a minor in History. She has taught mathematics for over 25 years at all levels as a private educator for students with a wide range of learning abilities. This allowed her to be a stay-at-home mom and community volunteer for a number of years. Now that her son is grown and off to college, she is looking forward to getting back into the classroom.

This is Mrs. Plaster’s third year at Park Academy.  She will be teaching all high school math subjects. She is thrilled to be at Park Academy and looks forward to working with amazing faculty and students in the Park Academy community. In her free time, Mrs. Plaster enjoys playing tennis, working in the yard and trying to master the perfect salsa recipe.
