Elizabeth Najera

Substitute Teacher

Elizabeth Najera moved from Arizona to Portland, Oregon in the summer of 2025. She loves the outdoors and enjoys activities such as hiking, camping, bird watching and reading. She is the oldest of 8 and her love for teaching her younger siblings new things is what drove her passion to be an educator. 

Ms. Najera graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She taught 2nd grade for 3 years before tutoring students with dyslexia and other learning differences using Orton Gillingham and structured literacy. 

She is excited to be a part of the Park Academy team and is looking forward to learning from this community.
